As a maker I have often found myself struggling to focus on a single process or material, though I have always had a deep admiration for those who are able to dedicate themselves in such a way to become masters in their field. No matter what material or technical road I venture down, I have always returned to the shaping and refining of wood as my practice, be that as turning, carving, or some form of sculpting.
